Activities

Our sessions are designed around a theme, themes are sometimes subtle such as evolving or exploring, looking at shelter building or feeding the birds - there are many activities on offer. The Foundation stage of the National Curriculum is covered in the Forest School Experience.

Individual skills and self-esteem and taking calculated risks are all heightened throughout activities such as shelter building, tool skills, or environmental art, the list is endless. Each activity develops intra and inter-personal skills as well as practical and intellectual skills.

At the end of the session we sit on the logs and share our experiences, what did we enjoy the best today?
