A typical day at Pre-School…

Nearly 12.30 pm

Today’s Pre-School session is over for the children. Staff bring the children’s coats in to the hall and put them on the blue floor mat so that the children can identify their own coats. The children then put on their coat (with assistance as appropriate), collect their lunch box from the table and finally, pick up their own Busy Box. The Supervisor then ensures that each child is handed over to the correct adult; it is then the adult’s responsibility to ensure that children keep safely away from the car park, road etc.

The Parent Helper for the day can choose to stay for lunch or if preferred, can leave at noon.

Back in the hall, the remaining staff busily carry out any last minute tidying and washing up and if time allows, prepare for the following day.
